Fiori Concrete Machines India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fiori Group S.p.A. Italy, was registered in India in March 2022. The principal company, Fiori Group S.p.A., was founded in 1942 and is headquartered in Finale Emilia (MO) in Italy.
The first-ever concept of a self-loading mixer was developed by Fiori in 1965. It was Fiori that introduced the concept of a swivel drum for a self-loading mixer.
The X-Generation, the most cost-effective SLM, was introduced by Fiori in 2014. The X-Generation SLM is a front-loading self-loading mixer with a reduced footprint, which is easy to operate, easy to maintain, ensures safety, and provides a high level of productivity.
The Fiori factory set up in Chennai, India, is the only factory outside of Italy for manufacturing Fiori self-loading mixers. The Fiori self-loading mixers are a result of continuous innovation over the last 80 years, extensive R&D, and customer feedback from over 65 countries.

After World War II, Italy needed to be rebuilt. FIORI started
making trucks adapting US Army old vehicles.
1956
The off-road mobility requirements led FIORI to design the first 2WD/1 m3 capacity front tip compacted dumper.
1960
For the first time ever in off-road dumpers, the 2,5 m3 capacity dumper was equipped with a 180° pivoting driving seat
1965
A revolution for compacted dumpers: 4x4, hubs with planetary gears and the self-loading hydraulic system.

The first concept of SELF-LOADING MIXER: an independent off-road vehicle able to produce, deliver and cast concrete at any job sites.
1968
In order to increase efficiency, FIORI applied the concept of a 180° pivoting driver’s seat and the back loading arm to the Self-Loading Mixer.
1974
Adaptation to a LOADER loading style and increased flexibility, introducing 4WS to Self-Loading Mixers for the first time ever.
1982
The first Self-Loading Mixer with 180°drum rotation on the market, improved the ability to pour concrete anywhere in the job site.
1991
Made for small job sites, thanks to an articulated frame and 1,5 m3 capacity, the DB 150 was the most compacted SLM in the market.
1999
In order to increase the flexibility and visibility of the pouring, FIORI patented an extended drum rotation system which permits a 360°chute positioning.
2007
The MIXER 4000 was the first off-road Volumetric Mixer ever built. Fresh concrete wherever and whenever at any job sites.
2010
Difficult job sites (as tunnels, mines, etc…) require off-road transit mixers built with 4WS and 4WD, and the 180° pivoting driver’s seat.
2011
Equipped with the Fiori Batch Controller, the CBV’s series is the first SLM ever that can mix and pour “certified concrete”.
2014
The X Generation: the most “cost effective” SLM on the market. Reduced footprint, easy to transport, easy to operate, easy to maintain.
2017
DB X35 Big Bag, The world’s first Self-Loading Mixer specifically designed to prepare dry pre-mix. This innovative, internationally patented system for Self-Loading big bags has been awarded the SAMOTER INNOVATION AWARD 2017.
