Power generation
To generate electricity in hydroelectric power stations, water must be in motion. Given that water is the initial source of energy, those power plants are located on rivers, streams and canals. To build a power station, a huge amount of concrete is required for building infrastructures like canals, dams, pipes, roads slabs, facilities, etc. Like other renewable resources, including geothermal, wind power and solar power, the source of the hydroelectric power generation are predominantly located in rural and remote areas in the countries. Working across remote areas with limited infrastructure for logistical support, requires on-site equipment with the highest reliability and productivity. In such places the construction operations are critical and this means that to be self-sufficient is not an option.
Energy distribution
Utility poles and towers with cables of telephone or electricity, helps deliver services to homes and businesses all over the world. A correct installation is important, because it is a danger to the community if these poles fall and wires come down. Furthermore this can cause severe losses to the interested businesses and problems for folks who depend on their utilities. Thousands of kilometers of pipelines (natural gas, oil, water, electricity, etc.), oil tanks, windmill foundation, communication antennas, substation and electrical grid, have always been considered a big challenge for casting concrete on-site due to their extensions and remote location.
